George Hartnett Funerals had the privilege of sponsoring an event with The Catholic Mission at Spoon Deli, East Brisbane earlier this year.
The after five soiree was to raise awareness of the role that women play in the work of the Catholic Mission around the world. The guest speaker was Sr. Merieti Riiki (OLSH) the Regional Director for the Pontifical Mission Societies in the South Pacific. Sr. Merieti is one of only two women in such a leadership role within the Pontifical Missions Societies.
George Hartnett Funerals presented a cheque for $3,000 in support of the Catholic Mission which was well received. The event was a great success with some very interesting speakers.
