Queensland Ballet

George Hartnett Funerals is proud to support the Queensland Ballet. Each year George Hartnett Funerals provides a $2,000 grant to a ballet performer in their last year of tuition.

The George Hartnett Funerals Professional Year Student Award is presented to an aspiring performer who has the potential to take their ballet career into the professional ranks. The Professional Year program at Queensland Ballet takes some of the country's top ballet students for an year-long intensive program that prepares them for a career in ballet performance. The George Hartnett Award enables the winning student to focus on their dance and career by assisting them with their tuition fees.

In addition to providing the Award, George Hartnett Funerals also raises awareness of the Queensland Ballet's role within the State's vibrant arts community.
